Ok so I’ve got a confession to make. It was actually me who is really REALLY obsessed with the royal wedding so much that I got a tattoo of the royal couple on my teeth I don’t feature enough VST Plug-ins on this site. Mostly because VST doesn’t work with Pro Tools and most of the Plug-ins are only made for Windows and we all know that if everyone had their “druthers,” we would all be using Mac for recording. Alas I realize some of you for different reasons use Windows, so I will try to feature more VST Synths and Plug-Ins.
So this brings me to this program. Disco DSP Discovery. This VST Synth is basically a very intuitive “make-your-own-sounds” Synth. Everything seems to be pretty straight forward too. I personally haven’t used this but the controls look pretty easy to use. Lets see what the company has to say about this program.
32 and 64-bit, 8 oscillators Audio Units and VST Virtual Analog Synthesizer featuring 4 layers, 2X oversampling/undersampling, built-in arpeggiator, sync, FM, 8 filter types, unison edit, panning modulation, stereo delay and gate effects. Imports Nord Lead 2 SysEx data.
The RC3 update includes:
- 64 bit Audio Units support for Mac.
- 64 bit VST support for Windows.
- New selected item EDIT menu background color.
- Instant refresh in Bank Browser for new FXB files.
- Better preset renaming dialog box.
- Manual revision.
